"The Ashen Verdict deep dive talked me out of a full-price buy and into waiting. Saved me CA$40 and I loved it more on sale."
"Finally a speedrun column that explains the glitches instead of just showing them. I followed the route and beat my PB by two minutes."
"Their indie picks are how I found Tidewalker. Three of my last five favourite games came straight from this blog."
"The controller reviews are the only ones I trust — 30 hours of testing shows. Skipped the Halcyon Pro on their advice."
Questions
Reading & subscribing
Every published article is free with no paywall. An optional Supporter tier at CA$6/month unlocks early access, a private Discord and monthly voting on what we cover next. You can cancel anytime.
There's a fixed cadence: RPG deep dives on Mondays, indie finds on Wednesdays, speedrun teardowns every other Friday and hardware reviews once a month on Sundays. The newsletter recaps everything each Saturday morning, Eastern Time.
Reviews & ethics
No. We buy every game and every piece of hardware at retail so there's no obligation to a publisher. When a review contains an affiliate link it's clearly labelled, and it never changes the verdict.
Absolutely — indie developers and readers are welcome to reach out. Email [email protected] or call +1 (416) 555-0179 during studio hours. We read everything, though we can only cover a fraction of what comes in.
